The Most Important COP Briefing That No One Ever Heard | Truth, Lies, Racism & Omnicide
“350 ppm is a death sentence … The safe level of CO2 for SIDS (Small Island Developing States ) is around 260 parts per million …” CO2 buildup must be reversed, not allowed to increase or even be stabilized at 350 PPM, which would amount to a death sentence for coral reefs, small island developing states, and billions of people living along low lying coastlines.” – AOSIS Briefing 2009

Harper Launches Major First Nations Termination Plan: As Negotiating Tables Legitimize Canada’s Colonialism
“The long-term goals set out in the Harper government’s policy and legislative initiatives listed above are not new; they are at least as old as the Indian Act and were articulated in the federal 1969 White Paper on Indian Policy, which set out a plan to terminate Indian rights as the time….The negotiating First Nations who are in joint processes with Canada seem to be collectively heading to the cliff of the “Buffalo Jump” as they enter termination agreements with Canada emptying out section 35 in the process.”

Rockefellers’ 1Sky Unveils the New 350.org | More $ – More Delusion
Let the Vatican preach, hallefuckinglujah, as we double-up on the soma followed by a double shot of absinthe burning like the embers of hell. Thank you Rockefellers, Clintons, McKibben and friends. Make way for the onslaught of illusion in which green capitalism and false solutions will somehow save us. In one last final performance – the elites will now perform their final magical act that defies all logic.

The Real Weapons of Mass Destruction: Methane, Propaganda & the Architects of Genocide | Part IV
The difficulty with the science is that it lays bare the inadequacy of our favoured response to climate change…. is it therefore not time for those of us who work in climate change to refrain from finessing our analysis, and instead be as blunt and direct publicly as we are prepared to be privately?”

The Real Weapons of Mass Destruction: Methane, Propaganda & the Architects of Genocide | Part III
The slightest risk/possibility of methane being added to the atmosphere from carbon feedbacks today – from any source – leaves no doubt that an absolutely expedient transition from fossil fuel energy to zero carbon energy is imperative for our survival. Yet, methane releases continue to accelerate. The fact that methane is 100 times more powerful than CO2 in the first 5-10 years after it’s been emitted creates an unparalleled world emergency of massive scale.

The Real Weapons of Mass Destruction: Methane, Propaganda & the Architects of Genocide | Part II
The obstructionist corporate-colluded states – the ones responsible for climate change in the first place – have no intention of going to zero carbon in the single decade as direly warned by Hans Joachim Schellnhuber in 2009 – what is necessary for the world to avoid reaching and exceeding a global catastrophic 2ºC. They have no intention of going to zero, ever, until the Earth is literally drilled to death – or we annihilate humanity. Whichever comes first.

Re-Imaging the Commons as ‘The Green Economy’ – A Critical Analysis by Dr.Joanna Boehnert
Posted on April 16, 2013 | No Comments" With this formulation, the UN's GEP assumes that forests, species, stable climates, etc. are somehow replaceable by the wizardry of financial markets. This new conceptualization of the natural world creates sets of financial commodities thatwill be conserved in order in order to provide ecosystem services – or traded (i.e.sold) to enable development (and ensuing ecological degradation). This project will undoubtedly create "opportunities" for business at first, but one destroyed ecosystems cannot be saved by other preserved ecosystems elsewhere." -

Algae in the Changing Arctic Ecosystem
Posted on March 6, 2013 | No CommentsA group of U.S. scientists has discovered enormous blooms of algae growing in an area of the Arctic Ocean that they never thought could support the phytoplankton: below the sea ice. The discovery was a shock because living organisms don't usually survive underneath the ice pack that covers parts of the Arctic Ocean for much of the year and blocks out the light needed to sustain life. "First, we were thinking, 'This can't be. This can't be possible. There's no way this can be what it looks like,'" -
Projected Effects And Historical Overview of Civilizational Forced Climate Change
Posted on March 5, 2013 | 1 Comment"Civilization is on a path to heat the Earth up by 4 to 7 degrees Celsius before the middle of this century if it fails to end its carbon emissions, triggering a cascade of cataclysmic changes that will include the increase of extreme heat-waves, prolonged droughts, intensified weather patterns, the total loss of Arctic sea ice, rapid decline in global food availability, sea level rise affecting billions of people, and eventually an abrupt extinction of the majority of biological life on earth. The solution, while not a simple one to execute, is clear: Civilization must end its reliance on fossil fuels and begin to sequester CO2 from the atmosphere immediately, reducing the atmospheric concentration of CO2 down to a safe level." -
WATCH: ‘Frozen Dirt’ and Methane … ‘We Cannot Go There’
Posted on March 4, 2013 | No CommentsWhen permafrost ['frozen dirt'] thaws, so do the microorganisms. With no oxygen, the microorganisms make methane, and with it they make carbon dioxide, Kevin Schaefer of the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Centre explains. The concern is that much of the carbon stored in permafrost -- in frozen dirt -- could be released into the carbon cycle, says scientist Charles Miller of NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The Arctic, Miller says, is being affected by warming faster and more significantly than models had predicted. Methane concentrations, and even CO2 concentrations, "that one might associate with flying near a large oil or natural gas production facility or even flying through the middle of a large city" can be observed from an airplane, he says. -
Climate Change Summary and Update
Posted on February 20, 2013 | 1 Comment"The response of politicians, heads of non-governmental organizations, and corporate leaders remains the same. They’re mired in the dank Swamp of Nothingness. These are the people who know about, and presumably could do something about, our ongoing race to disaster (if only to sound the alarm). Tomlin’s line is never more germane than when thinking about their pursuit of a buck at the expense of life on Earth." -
Against Growth | A Conversation With Economist Joshua Farley
Posted on February 20, 2013 | 1 Comment"Given the relation between economic production and ecological degradation, Joshua Farley is convinced that economic growth must stop. It is just a question of when. And whether cooperation will displace competition as the dominant concept in the economic paradigm." -
Profiting from Your Thirst as Global Elite Rush to Control Water Worldwide
Posted on February 15, 2013 | 2 CommentsThe elite multinational and Wall Street banks and investment banks have been preparing and waiting for this golden moment for years. Over the past few years, they have amassed war chests of infrastructure funds to privatize water, municipal services, and utilities all over the world. It will be extremely difficult to reverse this privatization trend in water. -
Desperate Times Require Intelligent Measures | Reversing Meat-Eating Culture to Combat Accelerating Climate Change
Posted on January 31, 2013 | No CommentsFollowing an overview of the environmental impacts of meat production, this report turns to an outline of the research addressing changing to meat free diets and by doing so I review research into both the barriers and incentives to adopting a meat free diet. I then turn to a more sociological consideration of meat-eating and discuss the cultural and social practices which surround our food choices and beliefs about the necessity of meat in our diets. -
WATCH: The Dark Side of the Green | Guarani-Kaiowá Peoples Being Decimated for Ethanol Boom in Brazil
Posted on January 10, 2013 | No Comments"Expelled from their lands because of the continuous process of colonization, more than 40,000 Guarani Kaiowá now live on less than 1% of their original territory. On their lands today, there are thousands of hectares of sugarcane put in place by multinational enterprises that portray ethanol to the world as an "environment friendly" and "clean" fuel."
